Time and time again, we have heard that Wednesday night’s “Arrow” episode entitled “Nanda Parbat” is going to be epic. How epic? Well, if most of the episode is like the sneak peek below, we will be spending it with our jaw on the floor in shock.
Apparently, Thea Queen has evolved past being the young woman who wants to take orders from other people, and she has done something seemingly to clear both her name and that of her brother Oliver. What did she do precisely? That is not entirely clear from the sneak peek below, but we imagine implicating Malcolm Merlyn in the death of Sara could have something to do with it. This would justify John Barrowman’s character being in Nanda Parbat, and having to face off with Ra’s al Ghul. These two characters are well aware of each other, but have not until now actually shared a scene onscreen. This should be exciting.
Now, we turn to the struggle for this episode: Given that Thea hates her father’s guts at the moment, why in the world would Oliver want to go all the way to where Ra’s calls home? Is he really desperate to save Merlyn, or is there a very different motivation for his actions. We are just going to have to wait and see when it comes to that, but the photo above proves that Oliver makes it there, sans Arrow costume.
One of the other exciting parts of this episode is Ray Palmer making his debut in the Atom costume, though for now, there is not a whole lot known about what he will be doing in it.
