‘How to Get Away with Murder’ finale spoilers: Viola Davis stars in Oscars promo

The season finale of “How to Get Away Murder” is almost surely going to be enormous. Based on the new promo below, this is going to be almost all sorts of insane. There is so much that still needs to be tied together on this show, whether you are talking about the murder of Lila Stangard, the murder of Sam Keating, and some of the other smaller subplots that have taken place over the course of the year.

Ultimately, it seems very appropriate that this aired during the Academy Awards, largely because of the fact that Viola has become an awards-show staple there, and she is probably close to being a shoo-in for a nomination at the Primetime Emmy Awards later this year.

The funny thing here is that this show has been hyping up answers for almost the entirety of the first season so far, and we’re really not that sure you are going to be getting many of those in the near future, either. Why is that? Just remember here that there is a premium on keeping you hyped up. That’s why we feel like the finale will give you something, but then leave you hanging with some sort of very specific tease until the second season eventually comes around. Unfortunately for that, we know that you are going to be waiting until at least the fall.

Of course, don’t worry if you are eagerly hunting down some further scoop related to “How to Get Away with Murder.” We are going to be sharing so much more in the days leading up to the two-hour event Thursday night.
