‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: First look at Ra’s al Ghul, Oliver in ‘Nanda Parbat’

Clearly, Oliver Queen is doing some traveling on Wednesday night’s new episode of “Arrow.” Specifically, he is heading to one of the most dangerous places imaginable in Nanda Parbat. It is the land of Ra’s al Ghul, and it is also the place where some extremely terrible things could await him.

After all, Ra’s clearly knows that he is once again alive! The attached image to this article proves that, since it features Stephen Amell and Matt Nable on screen together for the first time since “The Climb” earlier this season. Maybe this is where we are finally going to learn how Oliver is still alive? Surely, Ra’s has some questions on that very subject, and nobody else has really asked. Whatever it was that he needed to be healed this time, maybe Oliver needs a little bit more of it after he squares off against the Demon’s Head again.

As of right now, we certainly don’t feel like he has a good shot of actually killing Ra’s. It seems far too soon, and getting rid of such an iconic character after really just a small handful of appearances would be almost a waste. However, what we’d like to see is something happen here that really ties together the past to the present. That means getting the bio-weapons involved again, and putting more of Starling City at risk. Raising the stakes, after all, is what made the end of season 2 so fantastic.

This episode has been teased to be a particularly game-changing one, so the one bit of advice we can offer for now is this: Watch it live, and don’t turn away for a second. You may otherwise have regrets.
