‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Phaedra Parks rumors; Kandi Burruss wants counseling
While there may not be a new episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” airing on Bravo Sunday night (blame the Oscars for that), but on March 1, the show is going to be back … and there is going to be fighting aplenty. We don’t want to waste much time, so let’s start by sharing the synopsis below:
“With Apollo now in prison, Phaedra returns home and begins adjusting to life without her husband. Cynthia drops a bomb to Claudia and Kenya, leaving them both in shock and one in tears. Todd is caught off guard when Kandi mentions going to marriage counseling. When all of the ladies gather for dinner to reconnect, tempers flare as Cynthia and Kenya confront Phaedra about illicit texts on her phone and an alleged affair with the mysterious “Mr. Chocolate.””
This cannot be real, mostly because “Mr. Chocolate” has to be the most absurd name for a secret alleged lover we’ve ever heard of. If your name is better suited to be a cereal mascot than it is anything else, you probably are something silly created for drama. Sure, it seems like it will create one particular-intense confrontation, which is fun as a viewer buy probably not so fun if you’re involved in it.
As for the potential problems in Kandi Burruss’ marriage (he doesn’t really seem too excited to be married to her in the promo below), we really just feel sad more than anything else. It wasn’t that long ago that we were watching this wedding special and rooting for these two! We still are hopeful that they can sort out their issues if they do go to counseling.
