‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2 spoilers: Further details on Lady Sif appearance

As you may know by now if you are a devoted fan of Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD,” the show is returning to ABC with new episodes starting on March 3. This is when you will get to see the aftermath of what happened with Skye at the end of the fall portion of the season. Hopefully in the process, we’ll get something that at least resembles an Inhumans origin story.

We do not have a whole lot in the way of insight now on her story beyond the first episode back, but we do have some more Lady Sif scoop! Jaimie Alexander, as you may know, is returning for the March 10 episode entitled “What You Really Are,” and you can see in the synopsis below at least a few details in terms of what to expect:

“Coulson and team come to the aid of a confused Lady Sif, who has lost her memory after fighting with a mysterious warrior whose true mission will send shockwaves through S.H.I.E.L.D. Meanwhile, Bobbi and MacK continue to hide their true mission from everyone close to them.”

Now that we know that Adrianne Palicki is a series regular, another great thing about reading this is that we don’t have some paranoid bug in the back of our head telling us that she could die at any given moment since she wasn’t committed to the show long-term.

As for Sif, this is meant to be just a one-off appearance for now. also, Alexander has a new pilot deal elsewhere, so she has other opportunities coming up.
