‘Glee’ season 6, episode 8 shocker: Who joined Brittany, Santana in getting married?

You knew that “Glee” was going to marry off Brittany and Santana during their episode entitled “A Wedding” on Friday night. One of the larger questions, though, was who was going to be joining them.

Well, we have to be honest here: This was one of the worst-kept secrets known to all of the “Glee” fandom. Almost everyone knew that Kurt and Blaine were getting married. Spoilers were out on it weeks ago. We just wanted to stay quiet about it here for the 0.1% who were actually stunned by it happening. At least it all took place in reasonably-fun fashion tonight, and this should be the celebration that many ‘shippers have been hoping for ever since these romances first started to surface on the show.

Personally, we’re somewhat thrilled that the weddings happened not only the way that they did, but at the time in which they did. This enables the show to focus on some other stories moving into the rest of the season, since the majority of the main romances are tied up. We’re not sure, after all, that we are ever going to get closure on Tina and Mike Chang.

As for Sam and Rachel, it was a subtle but nice moment seeing Finn’s mother give the two her blessing during the dance portion of the reception. This was a reminder that Finn’s memory on the show is still alive, and we feel like he would want her to be happy. She waited a long time before dating someone, and she and Sam seem to genuinely care about each other.
