‘Glee’ season 6, episode 7 preview: Mike Chang, Sugar Motta return in ‘A Wedding’

The wait begins -One of the nice things about “Glee’s” final season is an opportunity to see some updates on familiar faces, many of whom are people we haven’t seen in a while.

Take for example Mike Chang and Sugar Motta. We haven’t seen Harry Shum Jr. all season, and it feels like forever since Vanessa Lengies stopped by for a guest spot. Both will be a part of “A Wedding” Friday night, and they spend a few minutes telling you in the promo below all about what the show meant to them, and also the basic story of this episode. Brittany and Santana are getting married, and that’s going to be a huge focus throughout the hour. With that being said, be prepared for a few other surprises to go along with that.

Just in case those are wondering just how many guest stars are going to appear in here, be prepared to see Mike O’Malley back as Burt Hummel, Romy Rosemont as Finn’s mom, Gloria Estefan, Ken Jeong, Jennifer Coolidge, and so many other familiar faces. The big omission to us at the moment is pretty simple: Dianna Agron, who we presume probably had some other sort of commitment. It’s a bummer that the Unholy Trinity won’t be together for this particular big day.

Also, we do hope that at some point during the final episode we see people like Samuel Larsen, Melissa Benoist, Blake Jenner, and Damian McGinty, who all played a part in the story at one point or another. We know that many of them are busy, but even a small cameo somewhere would be enough to make us smile. Given that McGinty’s Rory lived with Brittany for a while, he is probably the second-biggest snub next to Quinn.
