‘Blue Bloods’ season 5 spoilers: Is Erin in serious danger?

The fifth season of “Blue Bloods” has definitely been all about issues plaguing the police force, but it appears that these are going to stretch beyond just those in uniform. While Baez is going to find herself in imminent danger on an upcoming episode of the CBS crime drama, another coming after that will feature the Erin character in serious trouble.

So what do you want to know right now in terms of specific details? This storyline will be featured in “Occupational Hazards,” the episode airing on the network Friday, March 6. The synopsis below is at least fairly illuminating when it comes to just what you can expect:

“Erin is rattled when an unknown assailant breaks into her apartment and also attacks her co-worker. Meanwhile, Jamie and Eddie discover a pipe bomb in an elderly woman’s apartment, and Frank looks into a charity that is soliciting money for the NYPD.”

Obviously, Erin’s story is not going to be the only one that really matters in this installment, but this is going to be what stands out first and foremost for many out there. The Frank dilemma is an interesting one, mostly because it may be getting money for the police department, but not necessarily in approved ways. Ultimately, it should be interesting.

Hopefully, we are going to see at least a few moments coming up where some of these characters have a little bit more peace in their lives … but that may not be anytime soon. After all, this is a show that thrives in many ways by giving us fairly chaotic situations for its characters.
