‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6 spoilers: When will Kat Graham’s Bonnie be returning?

Have you felt like “The Vampire Diaries” has drawn out the Bonnie storyline far too long? Well if you feel that way, at least rest assured that it is ending, and sooner rather than later!

As a matter of fact, it appears that she will be coming back into the present-day world of Mystic Falls on Thursday night, which really could not be better timing since almost everyone in the town right now could really use a friend. After all, Caroline is mourning the loss of her mom, and this death has also impacted Damon in a huge way, as well. Bonnie and Damon may not be good friends given all the time they spend on the other side. If nothing else, they certainly are going to get along a heck of a lot better than they did before going into this.

Speaking to TV Guide, what executive producer Caroline Dries does make clear is that while Bonnie is going to be back Thursday, she will not necessarily be emotionally healed at all from what she went through:

“Bonnie is going to come back having the scars of what she went through and the post-traumatic stress of having no one to talk to … She’ll be dealing with the psychological ramifications, [which is] not something she’ll be advertising.”

At this particular point, we’re just glad to see her back. We seriously felt for a while like we were not going to see her again on the show at all for a reasonable amount of time.
