‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Britt Nilsson expresses interest and more in Jimmy Kimmel chat

Has the entire “Bachelor” franchise basically taken over “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” this year? More or less, but we figure that all parties involved don’t mind. It’s great brand synergy for ABC, and in addition to that, the ratings are good and Kimmel seems to have a whole lot of fun with it.

In the video below, you can see Britt Nilsson’s first major interview since her elimination on Monday night, and it feels pretty darn clear here that she is a production favorite. Not only that, but a potential favorite to be “The Bachelorette.” She admits that she should not have freaked out over her final group date on the show, she claims that she actually gets fewer tips now as a waitress because people think that she made money on the show (not true), and she also says that she definitely does shower, despite claims to the contrary on the show. (Jimmy then invites her over to take a shower, which is mostly just hilarious because of Britt’s facial reaction.)

While she does not campaign hard for “The Bachelorette” in this interview, she does give him a thumbs-up when Jimmy says that he knows plenty of people who’d be happy to see her in the spot. Clearly, she’s interested.

One thing that we will say here is that while Britt had a few ugly moments on the show, this video clearly does a good job of convincing us that she should be a frontrunner for the role. She has a pretty good sense of humor about the entire competition, and she carries herself well on-camera. There may be another contender or two, but we probably downplayed her chances at the role before this week.
