‘Glee’ season 6 spoilers: Series finale title, writers revealed

The wait begins -While “Glee” may still be doing their part to remain as coy as possible about the upcoming series finale, why not share at least a few more details today?

At the moment, what we’ve found out is that this episode (which will be airing on Fox next month) is entitled “Dreams Come True,” and is being written by executive producers Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan. Murphy, despite being one of the busiest men alive these days, has remained pretty active when it comes to penning episodes this season. He had a part in writing both of the first two episodes of this final season, as well. The director here in Brad Buecker also helmed the first two episodes of this season.

As for that title, we’re sure that some out there will automatically label it as “hokey,” and we understand where they are coming from. Is it a touch on the overly-inspirational side? Sure, but we don’t exactly know just what you were expecting from this show. Basically from the very beginning, Murphy has made it clear that this is not a show where he wants to completely rip out your heart and stomp on it. This is more of one trying to achieve some sort of inspirational message about hope and about the importance of arts education in schools.

There are still many episodes between now and the finale, and in there, we will hopefully learn a thing or two more about what some of these specific “dreams” truly are. We will definitely have a little more news as it becomes available.
