‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Apollo Nida’s surprise visit to Phaedra Parks

Just in case you did not feel uncomfortable enough about the Phaedra Parks storyline on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” we now present to you the new sneak peek below. This makes us feel uneasy almost from the start.

The basic premise here is simple enough. Phaedra is in the process of changing things up at her place, and this includes getting a new lock on the garage door. Then, Apollo Nida suddenly shows up out of the blue, and starts demanding access! He is supposed to be in police custody, so the fact that he is there to begin with is certainly a problem and a surprise.

We do have to give Phaedra a whole lot of credit for somehow managing to completely keep her cool here, despite what is obviously an immense amount of crazy happening all around her. This is a woman who understandably could be very scared in this situation. While she has friends and a camera crew present, Apollo is clearly an unpredictable guy right now without a whole lot to lose. That often equals danger, no matter how you slice it.

For those who have found the entire Apollo situation uncomfortable, the one obvious silver lining that we can offer to you right now is that this is almost over. There are still some episodes coming up after he is locked away in prison, and in those, hopefully you are going to get a chance to see some different sides to what Phaedra has going on. If anyone deserves a little bit of peace once all the dust here has settled, it is her.
