‘Chicago PD’ season 2, episode 15 review: Burgess in trouble, team gets taser training

On the last episode of “Chicago PD” we saw Hank pay off Bunny’s debt to some pretty bad guys and in exchange he’s told Bunny he wants her to leave Lindsay alone.  Of course she told Hank thanks for the help, but that she won’t stay away from Lindsay, so we expect her to be back to cause more trouble later on down the line.

Now that Burgess turned down intelligence, she is starting to regret her decision and is feeling like she is in a rut. She is looking to shake things up, so when she sees a man looking shady she runs off with Roman to investigate… and Roman ends up with a gun to his head. After Roman and Burgess get disarmed, he is pulled into the warehouse by the suspect. Instead of radioing in the crime, Burgess decides to find another way in to save Roman and finds herself in even more trouble as he is knocked out and she is held at gun point by a man.

Adam is starting to get worried after he’s called Burgess over and over with no response and no one from the station has heard from either her or Roman, so the team goes out to look for them. Luckily Burgess and Roman are able to get themselves out of the situation themselves, (eventually the team shows up to help) and Burgess is feeling like she has gotten herself out of her rut.

The highlight of the episode was watching the rest of the team back at the station getting taser certification which included tasering each other and then rolling around on the floor laughing about each other’s pain. We couldn’t stop ourselves from laughing either, something that we rarely get to do while watching this show. Episode grade: C+
