‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6, episode 15 preview: ‘Let Her Go’ focuses on Candice Accola’s Caroline

The latest -If there was ever an episode of “The Vampire Diaries” that could make you feel like you are living within a glass case of emotion, it could be “Let Her Go,” the next new installment of the series airing next week. Executive producer Julie Plec both wrote and is making her directorial debut on this installment, which should show you a thing or two in regards to how much she is putting into making this great.

Just from the title alone, you can probably figure out what this installment is going to be about. The synopsis below makes it even clearer, and also reminds you that regardless of whatever Caroline may be going through, the action elsewhere is not going to stop:

“After assigning tasks to each of her friends, Caroline (Candice Accola) attempts to deal with her current situation as reality begins to set in around her. While spending the day with Caroline, Elena (Nina Dobrev) grows concerned when she starts noticing a strange change in her behavior. Meanwhile, Alaric (Matt Davis) becomes wary when Kai (guest star Chris Wood), who has begun experiencing unexpected consequences from the merge, turns to Jo (guest star Jodi Lyn O’Keefe), desperate for her help. Elsewhere, while Bonnie (Kat Graham) finds herself in an unfamiliar situation, Matt (Zach Roerig) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) contemplate a major life change. And when Damon (Ian Somerhalder) offers Caroline advice on how to cope with everything going on around her, it forces him to revisit painful memories involving his own mother.”

Given that this episode is going to be the last one for the show for the month of February, it may be fair to say that this one will have quite a few heavy, emotional notes to it. Also, possibly a cliffhanger! We’ll have to wait and see, but hopefully Caroline will star to cope with her mother’s death.
