‘The Librarians’ renewed by TNT for season 2
Great news for all of those out there who are found of “The Librarians” over on TNT: The network has decided to fill the book with many more exciting chapters.
It was confirmed today that there will be a second season debuting in the near future, and it will consist of ten hour-long episodes. The show was at least a solid contributor for the network during the holiday season, which is really far from the time in which you want to be a new series on the air. It can be extremely competitive, and trying to make an individual show stand out is no easy task.
What also is going to be interesting to see on the show is whether or not we get some sort of return appearance in here from Noah Wylie. Given that he was a big part of the TV movies, and that “Falling Skies” is coming to a close, it feels like the stars would be aligned to make more regular appearances in the near future. We know that he is certainly popular enough with the fans, and the relationship with the network is already there.
Maybe we are getting a little bit ahead of ourselves. For now, why not just celebrate for a few minutes? The show is coming back for another season! Given the regime change at TNT and TBS to one led by Kevin Reilly, we had no way of knowing for sure just what was going to be done here. Many of their other decisions have also been ambiguous.
