‘Supernatural’ season 10 episode 14 preview: Cain, Rowena return in ‘The Executioner’s Song’

Cain -Supernatural” season 10 has brought us on quite a journey over the past couple of weeks, at least from the vantage point of giving us fun story-of-the-week plots. With that being said, there has not really been anything that gives you further information on the Mark of Cain, save for maybe that Castiel was off trying to hunt the man down.

Luckily, you are going to have a chance to see Timothy Omundson again on the next new episode entitled “The Executioner’s Song,” which airs on The CW next week. As the synopsis below indicates, Cain is not exactly going to have a peaceful integration into the show. In addition to that, we’re also going to see what happens when Crowley makes his mother Rowena angry, which should be rather fun:

“Dean (Jensen Ackles), Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Castiel (Misha Collins) deal with Cain’s (guest star Timothy Omundson) return. Crowley (Mark Sheppard) and Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) continue to grow closer but when Crowley bails on plans with his mother to help the Winchesters, Rowena lets him have it.”

While we’re sure that some wanted to see Cain sooner than now, we do think as a whole that the series has handled the whole Mark of Cain storyline about as well as they could have, given the circumstances. We were starting to get a little tired of it at the start of January, and they’ve since given us a little breka. Now, we are once again fully invested in seeing what comes next as Dean tries to free himself completely of this burden.
