‘Downton Abbey’ season 5, episode 6 (PBS) preview: Joanne Froggatt, Michelle Dockery teases!
For those of you looking forward to watching Sunday night’s “Downton Abbey” episode when it airs on PBS, we come to you bearing some good news … and teasers! That’s right, we’ve got the latest edition of Five Teasers from the upcoming episode, which we personally believe is the best one in the past season and a half. There are so many important things that happen in here, and they could shape a few stories in a very big way.
Obviously, we’ll give you an obligatory warning right now that if you do not want to have anything completely ruined, stop reading! Come back tomorrow night for some deeper analysis of one particular moment from the episode that deserves it’s time in the spotlight.
1. You are going to finally learn in this episode what Bates was up to the day that Mr. Green died. We’re not going to say anything else, since this is worth watching for yourself.
2. Mary’s going to be sporting a new look in this episode. What’s the reason why? It’s a little more complicated than you would think.
3. Thomas reveals more about his sudden and surprising condition.
4. Edith discovers something that only piles on the dozen or so terrible things that have happened to her as of late.
5. At least one character may decide to spend a little bit of time away from the Abbey by the time the episode is over. Will they come back before the end of the season? That is one of the biggest cliffhangers we have to offer right now.
