‘Arrow’ season 3, episode 12 podcast: On ‘Uprising,’ frustrations over Oliver’s ‘death’ with Jessa

Arrow -Is “Arrow” leading us on in a terrible way when it comes to Oliver Queen’s resurrection? We are three episodes into the new year, and while we are liking quite a bit of what is happening aboard the series, one thing remains clear: This is still a hanging chad, and a very annoying problem for the show.

This issue is what we start our latest CarterMatt podcast off with. While we enjoyed quite a bit of the story that lied within the episode “Uprising” Wednesday night, it is a criticism that is hard to ignore at this point in the show. If you are able to suspend belief a little better than us about Oliver getting magic tea that brings him back to life, then maybe this will not bother you nearly as much.

Some of the other topics for this podcast include Felicity finally doing what we’ve hoped to see her do for several weeks (establishing a level of self-reliance by not agreeing to go with Oliver’s plan of working with Malcolm Merlyn), and also one of our favorite moments of the entire season regarding Roy and Captain Lance. Also we take a look back into the Malcolm Merlyn flashbacks, whether or not Laurel’s actions are going to cause her father great harm, and of course the end of the Danny Brickwell story.

We end this podcast with the latest “Arrow” news, which includes the return of the Suicide Squad a little later in the season as well as talking about the new suit for The Atom.
