‘Criminal Minds’ season 10, episode 15 preview: Jennifer Love Hewitt in the spotlight in ‘Scream’
Next week, “Criminal Minds” arrives with a new episode in “Scream,” which happens to be a rather significant one for the direction of the Kate Callahan character. We’re going to see Jennifer Love Hewitt have a good deal of screen time in this episode. Not only that, but we are also going to see quite a bit of her home life. Also, Greg Grunberg! Anytime that we get a chance to see the “Heroes” alum is a cause for celebration in our books.
Want to get a few other details right now in terms of what to expect? Have no fear, since CBS just released what is the official synopsis for this hour:
“Victims in California have the BAU searching for an UnSub who may have witnessed abuse as a child. Meanwhile, Kate shows parental concern when her niece, Meg, makes a date with a friend to meet a boy they met online, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Feb. 11 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Greg Grunberg (@greggrunberg; “Felicity,” “Lost”) guest stars as Kate’s husband, Chris Callahan.”
We’re excited to see what happens with Kate, and in addition to that, we feel like the case of the week is going to be a tricky one. We have an UnSub here who is apparently making it a mission statement to put children through trauma, and then record their screams. Hence, the title of this episode. We’re not just talking here about a reference to some horror franchise.
There are some further twists and turns that we will probably find out about with this episode soon, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for more in the days ahead.

I love Kate its about dang time they start telling her story. and giving her more screen time. been watching ten yrs and Kate is my favorite since Prentiss left.

Viewers are going to have opinions. There is a difference. I don’t hate her I don’t know her and that is different then I don’t think she can act and her character brings nothing to the show. I never liked the
Jeanne Tripplehorn character and JLH id ten million times worse but Jeanne didn’t ruin the show.

That is your opinion I happen to like her and so do many more of us. the problem is not the criminal minds characters, its the crappy fans. for ten yrs I have watched these fans do nothing but whine and moan everytime a new character joins the show. sounds like a bunch of immature hateful teenagers.

Again that is your opinion not all of the fans feel the same way. many of us like her on the team, We actually created pages away from cbs to get away from the rude nasty haters. So many of us don’t even chat on that fb page anymore, fans there have gotten so nasty with hate it has gotten immature like reading a bunch of teenagers commenting instead of adults. it got so bad that they even sent death threats to her on twitter over a dang tv character. talk about some crazy dang fans.

I am telling you what has been going on against this woman over a tv character. not putting words in your mouth. learn to read right. and I have seen the hate and I have seen the love for her also. some of the haters are completely out of their minds over a tv character, I was only chatting back with you. if you are taking it personal that is your own deal.
