‘Outlander’ episode 9 video: Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, more talk stories ahead
Starz continues to be once again generous when it comes to getting you through “Droughtlander.” After all, they could be just telling fans of “Outlander” to “deal with it” when it comes to the fact that new episodes do not return until Saturday, April 4. However, they are being rather kind, and releasing more and more video teases with each passing week of what comes ahead.
We find the latest video below from the network to be among the most substantial, given that this one features executive producer Ronald D. Moore alongside cast members Caitriona Balfe (Claire), Tobias Menzies (Black Jack Randall) and Sam Heughan (Jamie) all discussing some of the stories that will be coming ahead on the series. We’re not going to sit here and say that there is anything in this video at all that will blow you away … mostly because there’s not.
With that being said, these actors plus Moore remind you that not everything in the second half of season 1 will go the way that you may perceive. Black Jack will continue to torment Jamie, Claire will find her feelings becoming more and more conflicted, and we will see even more of Jamie’s family. The series will grow more complex, and almost nothing will be necessarily cut-and-dry.
Eventually, we are going to see what life is like back in Claire’s former time, but whether or not that will be in season 1 or the start of season 2 is unclear. It is just something to keep in mind.
