‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6, episode 13 video: Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, and ‘the talk’

Did Damon and Elena just solidify their relationship in the most non-dramatic way possible? We suppose that this will ultimately depend on your interpretation of the new “Vampire Diaries” sneak peek below.

What we see in this particular video above all else is Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder’s characters simply bringing up the fact that they kissed while also preparing for their Bonnie birthday celebration sans Bonnie. Both agree that they liked it, and then they also don’t seem to be a opposed to a whole lot more of it in the future.

Unfortunately, that is really all that you have here for now, but this does go along with some of what we have heard as of late in regards to this show and these characters. We really do get the feeling that the writers are trying to give them a little bit of time to just be happy, since we haven’t really seen a whole lot of that on the show itself. There was a time that they were, but it was during a period that took place over a hiatus. We never really saw a whole lot of it on the show. This provides that opportunity potentially.

Also, it feels like the show has a variety of other ways to mine drama out of some situations. For example, we have everything that has been going on as of late with Kai, the end of Luke on the show, and also the state of Caroline’s mother. Then, there is Bonnie, who is bracing to have a pretty somber birthday by herself.
