‘Outlander’ spoilers: Caitriona Balfe teases emotional stories ahead

If you know the books on which “Outlander” is based, then we have a very simple reminder for you: The final episodes of season 1 are going to be insane. Claire will have many emotional and intimate moments ahead with Jamie, but there is also Black Jack Randall. We know already that this is an evil, sinister, and sadistic man, and he will be responsible for some of the show’s most shocking scenes to date.

We know that there are going to be many intense scenes moving into the future, but is star Caitriona Balfe really going to be prepared for them? It definitely sounds like it, at least based on what the actress said in complimentary fashion in a recent chat with E! News:

“It’s a lot, it really is. And it pushes you as an actress and as a person. But I am so lucky that I have two co-stars that I trust implicitly. They are my rock.“

The crazy thing of course is that there is already a second season ordered (even though season 1 isn’t finished airing yet), and with that, you certainly are going to see many more shockers and difficult stories that go beyond what we know already. Things will only get crazier, and we have to be prepared for that. Luckily, we shall be your guide every step of the way! The show officially returns on Saturday, April 4, and there is no timetable for the start of season 2 just yet.
