‘Jane the Virgin’ episode 13 preview: Is Jane’s baby in danger?

Jane the Virgin -For the most part, “Jane the Virgin” has been a lighthearted, funny show for The CW. After all, it is in the comedy category, which is what Gina Rodriguez won in at the Golden Globes earlier this year! With all of that being said, though, next week’s installment may be the most dramatic of the entire season so far … and there is a very particular reason for that.

In case you are wondering, the show was originally only picked up for 13 episodes, so this episode coming up was meant to be the finale in the event the show did not get a back nine. Therefore, you can probably think of this as the conclusion to a major arc, as Jane has to figure out what she wants to do after experiencing a pregnancy complication. She faces a potential miscarriage, and a variety of other problems if she makes the wrong decision.

If you want to see some other news in terms of what to expect with this episode, take a look at the attached synopsis:

“Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) are excited to find out the sex of the baby, but a medical issue means Jane might miss her graduation. Xo (Andrea Navedo) notices that something is going on with her mother, Alba (Ivonne Coll), but Alba is too embarrassed to talk about it. Meanwhile, Michael (Brett Dier) thinks he has finally figured out who Sin Rostro is, but he must try to capture him before he slips away.”

We’ll have more related to this episode soon, so let us hope for answers.
