‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 16, episode 13 video: A quick Super Bowl Sunday tease
NBC seems to be doing its best to try to promote most of their shows during Super Bowl XLIX, and that includes “Law & Order: SVU.” The Mariska Hargitay series is going to be back airing a new episode on Wednesday night, and we have the latest teaser below which is incredibly short.
Trust us here when we use the word “short”, since the video length below is really rather deceptive. The majority of the length is really just an advertisement for some other videos. This is an episode that will revolve around a variety of different topics, including a father who decides that he is going to take action when he doesn’t think that justice is being served in any other way.
There are of course a variety of different ways to look at this issue. You could claim that this is in some ways a testament to a father’s love. However, at the same time you also have to wonder if there are some other issues that are underneath the surface here. This is a show that tends to rely on giving you complicated issues, and there are not always solutions that are cut-and-dry.
While it may not be directly related to the series, the No More Campaign (which Hargitay and many other cast members actively support) featured a commercial during the Super Bowl tonight. “SVU” has itself taken on many stories this year already that revolve around domestic violence in the sporting world.

Thank goodness! A NEW SVU episode with KELLI GIDDISH on Wednesday! The last 2 NEW SVU Episodes with KELLI GIDDISH were December 10th and January 7th. What a way to run a Network(into the ground that is). There are 6 main characters in the show and the only one to be in every episode is Mariska Hargitay. What a way to promote everyone else in the show. Other networks don’t have this problem; only NBC(Nothing But Calamity). Is it possible for KELLI GIDDISH to be in EVERY SINGLE NEW EPISODE FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON? There are only 12 to go. Will Kelli and Danny Pino get new contracts at the end of the season that make up for the past four seasons when they were paid ALMOST NOTHING? I’m not holding my breath. More later.
