‘Glee’ season 6, episode 6 preview: Who is Brittany’s father? Also, Brittana moments

Where do we go from here on “Glee“? Tonight’s episode had a variety of different developments within the hour-long runtime, especially when we are talking about relationships. Some of the implications for what we had with Rachel and Sam are still to be seen, but one thing we can say for sure right now is rather simple: Brittany and Santana are getting ready for even more time in the spotlight!

For the first time on the show, we’re about to meet Brittany’s parents! Somehow, having Ken Jeong and Jennifer Coolidge in the parts just seems to be completely perfect. Also, is there some question as to her paternity? We don’t know if what we have in here is a joke, or something else entirely. Regardless, Brittany and Santana announce their weddings plans to her parents in here, and there should be a variety of other warn and fuzzy moments to go along with it. Just take a look at the synopsis below, which also hints at the return of Mercedes to the school:

“Brittany and Santana have some family convincing to do. Meanwhile, during a Burt Bacharach tribute week, Mercedes returns to Ohio to convince Rachel to pursue her Broadway dreams.”

Mercedes coming back here is really the first time that we’ve seen the show tackle that significant elephant in the room again, and that is Rachel’s past and whether or not she will be happy in the long-term being back in her hometown. It’s an interesting question, and one worth exploring.
