‘Two and a Half Men’ season 12, episode 12 review: Walden, Alan face Ms. McMartin trouble

The latest -Throughout Thursday night’s new episode of “Two and a Half Men,” there was one question that we had: How bad does Walden Schmidt want to ensure that Louis stays in his life? Is it worth cleaning up Alan’s messes?

This was something that Walden Schmidt had to contend with the moment that he realized that Alan had broken up with his social worker Ms. McMartin in order to be with Lyndsey of all people; suffice it to say, Ms. McMartin ws not happy. She followed him around, threatened to destroy them with a surprise inspection of the home, and did a series of other things. We have to say that as a longtime Maggie Lawson fan, getting to see her play someone who is largely insane is a nice change of pace. We haven’t seen a character quite like this from her before.

Unfortunately for Walden, what he realized here was that the only way to actually satisfy this woman was to be with her romantically himself … which poses some further problems for him. He realizes that if he is to break up with her, he runs the risk of losing Louis forever. He is so close to the end of the adoption process, he definitely does not want to do that.

On a slightly separate note, this episode featured what has to be our favorite Ashton Kutcher meltdown scene since he joined the show. His response to Alan saying he was going to fix things was completely hysterical.

Overall, most of this episode was completely silly, but we have to admit that we laughed pretty often. Grade: B.
