ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: See Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion, Annie Wersching now (photos)

While “Castle” is going to be back with new episodes on Monday night, we have to say that “Resurrection,” which airs a week from Monday, may be one of the most interesting cases that we have seen on the show to date.

What’s the reason for that? First and foremost, it all comes down to Annie Wersching and her character of Dr. Kelly Nieman. We already know that this is a woman capable of dark things, and all signs point to her being some sort of disciple to Jerry Tyson, otherwise known as 3XK. While we do not necessarily have definitive proof of it just yet, this is not really one of those situations where we need proof of everything to feel pretty confident in it. She’s got the sort of talents that could be extremely useful for him following his “death.”

Based on these new photos released by ABC, though, it looks like Nieman has been officially brought in by Castle and Beckett. Why else would she be in interrogation, staring down Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic’s characters? With this being said, we cannot really sit here and say that she looks altogether concerned about being there. It appears almost as if she is confident that she is going to be able to make it out of here without a problem.

One other interesting thing to note here is just the presence of Castle even being there in the room. Does this mean that he is back on the force? We’ll find out very soon.
