‘Justified’ season 6, episode 3 preview: What lies ahead for Raylan, Boyd?
Tuesday night, “Justified” gave us one of its first meetings of the minds between Boyd and Raylan this season, but when you remember that we’re in the final season of the show and these two have quite the history with each other, it is definitely not going to be the last.
So where will the story take these two next? This is one of many things that the next episode of the show is going to investigate further; plus, in the process Raylan better hope that Boyd finds a way to actually keep himself alive. Based on what we are seeing and hearing about right now, that may not be so much of a certainty. You don’t mess with Sam Elliott and his legendary voice! That is almost immediately one of our favorite parts of the promo below.
Also, take a look at the synopsis for more details from this episode:
“Raylan follows a trail of illegal explosives in an attempt to pin Boyd, who discovers he’s run afoul of a dangerous new player in town.”
Here is one other cool thing to note about this episode: It was directed by Peter Weller, who is coming off a great turn both acting and directing on “Sons of Anarchy.” This is his first time directing an episode of this show, but has also taken on this position for installments of “Hawaii Five-0” and “Longmire.” The latter show probably at least has something in common with “Justified” in terms of sensibility.
