‘Outlander’ episode 9 spoilers: Starz gives fans Jamie-centered sneak peek (video)

If you were watching Starz tonight, we feel like you may have been handed quite a gift courtesy of the good people at the network: The first extended sneak peek for the April 4 return of “Outlander.”

For those who have not heard, it was announced earlier this week that an extended preview would be released from the show’s first episode back, which is told entirely from the perspective of Jamie. This clip is a scenic story about how he has always felt he was different, and some of the changes that have come into his life over the course of the series so far. Obviously, Jamie’s life is very different than it was before meeting Claire, and that will continue as we get further and further along into this season.

If Starz releases an official video clip tonight, we’ll have it for you here. There are some uploaded online that you can probably search for, but out of respect for the network we’re going to wait and see if they release one officially. For those wondering the clip was introduced by executive producer Ronald D. Moore. (Update: See below!)

The series will eventually move back to telling the story of Claire from her perspective, but this is just a nice little way to change things up and give you a different flavor for this world.

Once again, the biggest thing that we give Starz credit for at this particular moment is knowing just what fans want to see from the show, and also making sure that they are not forgotten. This is obviously a long wait, and this can be a difficult thing for many people to bear.
