‘House of Lies’ season 4, episode 3 video: Marty and Jeannie’s latest argument

Stop us when this “House of Lies” article sounds familiar: There is going to be quite a bit of disagreement on Sunday night’s new episode between Marty and Jeannie.

What will it be over this time? Think along the lines of brand strategy, and the fact that Marty likes no ideas that are not his own. Superficially, we cannot really say that there is anything at all about the attached sneak peek that surprises us. He is dismissive, and then Kristen Bell’s character ends up complaining a little bit about if.

If we were to label something in here as a little bit more of a surprise, it would be the fact that this behavior has not changed at all, now that we know the truth about Jeannie’s baby. Given that the two are going to be having a child together, you would think that he would at least consider doing something a little bit different with her, or at least letting her voice be heard.

Will that change by the time that we are at the end of the season? It is possible, but for the time being we are not holding our breath. Instead, we imagine that we are going to witness many more arguments before these two come to a decision as to whether or not they want to be together, let alone anything else that they probably need to be thinking about.
