‘King of the Nerds’ season 3, episode 2 preview: Cosplay, cosplay, and more cosplay

Amanda -Well we have made it through the premiere of “King of the Nerds” season 3 (head over here to read our review of the show and hear a podcast with the executive producers from the show) and we already have some favorites as well as a few that we are still unsure of. One thing’s for certain though – everyone’s going to be talking about this season!

Tonight’s premiere really set up viewers for the season as a whole and as usual this show reminded us that you should always expect the unexpected. This is one of the many things that we love about this show: Not only is it wickedly smart and gets us thinking, but it is never predictable (we learned that hard lesson during the season 2 premiere when we picked Kelsey Syers to win and she was eliminated first #KelseyWasRobbed).

So what can we expect to see during the next episode of “King of the Nerds”? Well due to the incredible amount of cosplayers on this cast we weren’t exactly shocked to see that they had a cosplaying challenge pretty early on. Although we weren’t exactly thrilled to see so many cosplayers, we are extremely excited to see a challenge focused on this with all of them still in play! this should be a VERY competitive challenge and we have already seen how competitive some of the players are (we are looking at you Kaitlin).

The other interesting aspect of this cosplay challenge is that three of the women are cosplayers and Amanda has worked hard to make the first cross team alliance of all women to keep a female winner in the throne. It’s a brilliant idea tat we are in complete support of and we have become immediate fans of hers.
