‘Supernatural’ season 10, episode 11 preview: Felicia Day’s Charlie and secrets from Oz

“Supernatural” has established a nice little carousel of recurring guest stars over the years, and we are very well aware that many of different opinions on how some of them actually fare on the show. For example, there are some who love Sheriff Mills, and others who find her episodes to be merely “okay.” The same goes for the Charlie character.

While Felicia Day has not had much of a presence at all during the first ten episodes of the season, that changes with “There’s No Place Like Home.” This is a real opportunity to see what Charlie learned while she was in the land of great wizardry … but it also seems like she is not entirely coming back with exactly what you would expect. Just be sure to read the synopsis below for some further details:

“Sam (Jared Padalecki) is scanning the internet for suspicious paranormal activity and comes across a video of Charlie (guest star Felicia Day) beating up a district attorney. Dean (Jensen Ackles) suspects she’s back from Oz and hunting on her own, assuming the district attorney must have been a demon. When they do find Charlie, they are shocked when she tells them why she really came back from Oz.”

As for how much of Charlie we see this season beyond this episode, that remains to be seen … but we would be happy with one more episode. After all, it has been more than a season now since we last saw her in the first place. We do know at the same time that there is plenty of other stuff for the show to get to.
