‘Switched at Birth’ season 4, episode 4 preview: Will Emmett’s surprise visit cause problems for Bay?

There is some good news and some bad news ahead when it comes to next week’s new episode of “Switched at Birth,” at least when it comes to Bay and Emmett. While the two are going to have an opportunity to spend a little bit more time together, we are starting to have a feeling that this is not exactly going to happen as according to plan. There will be some problems that come with the quick transition between a long-distance relationship, and the seemingly the two parties being present all of the time.

As for what else could be coming up for the show, we’d say to watch out for Daphne in school after her midterms turn into a disaster. We personally feel like there has to be a connection between her performance and school and how she feels guilty still over Bay’s sacrifice.

This installment has one of the longest titles imaginable in “We Were So Close That Nothing Used to Stand Between Us,” and you can take a look at the synopsis for it below for all details:

“Bay feels pressured to maximize her short time with Emmett when he comes for a surprise visit. Daphne is mortified when she does poorly on her midterm exam. Melody and John clash when John encourages Travis to try out for the UMKC baseball team … Meanwhile, Kathryn asks Toby to help out with her new project.”
