‘The Fosters’ season 2, episode 13 preview: Will Callie run away?

To say that Monday night’s winter premiere for “The Fosters” was dramatic would be making a gross understatement. This was an episode that touched on many serious themes, from guardianship to suicide to all forms of depression. It ended with Callie finding herself at the center of a tough agreement with the Fosters and with Robert Quinn, and with her also suffering through some devastation when it comes to Brandon.

How can she move forward? Based on the promo below for next week’s new episode, it feels like she may at least briefly consider running away. Perhaps this is only a temporary consideration, but we still feel it is worth watching out for.

Meanwhile, Jesus’ secret about Ana will start to spread slowly, and Girls United will be coming back in an interesting manner. Take a look at all of this now, courtesy of the attached synopsis:

“Kiara from Girls United reaches out to Callie when she is placed in an unfit foster home. Callie recruits Stef to help, but they soon find that getting Kiara out is not as straightforward as it seems. Mariana is invited to join the STEM team at her school after she tests above her class but chooses to downplay her math scores to her boyfriend, Mat. Meanwhile, Brandon tries to convince his parents to let him join in on an opportunity with the band, and Jesus shares his secret with Hayley.”

Regardless of how bad things may seem, we still consider this to be a show about love and hope. Therefore, we’ll be looking for that light on the other end of the tunnel.
