ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: Nick Wechsler hints at Emily – Jack storyline

Given that the ratings for “Revenge” leave its future somewhat up in the air, we do very much wonder if the show is going to hold nothing back as we near the end of season 4. Namely, we wonder if the writers are going to make a concentrated effort to give fans the majority of what they want, realizing full well that there may not be many other opportunities to do so moving forward.

When it comes to the Jack / Emily characters and a potential romantic pairing, it does appear that this will very much be the case. You are going to see more of Nick Wechsler and Emily VanCamp working together as we near the end of the season, and while there is no confirmation per se that the two are going to hook up. You can at least rest assured that the show is going to be leaning more and more in this direction. Just take a look at what Wechsler himself had to say on the subject to TVLine:

“We weren’t going to push that … Jack’s been hanging back, waiting for her to feel ready, but he’s been into her this whole time. We’re slowly getting there.”

What we do really like about this relationship is that the writers have taken their time with these two, and not rushed them to any extent so far. If there is one thing that could stand in their way right now, it’s Ben. Emily is going to have to figure out how she feels about him.
