‘The Flash’ episode 10 spoilers: New short teasers with Grant Gustin, Tom Cavanagh
Fans of “The Flash,” we feel your pain. It has been far too long since new episodes have come on the air. Isn’t it time to correct that? Luckily, Tuesday night is not too far away!
As a way to help to make that wait a little less painful now, The CW has been releasing some short clips over the past few days featuring the cast hyping up “Revenge of the Rogues,” and it includes everyone from Grant Gustin (Barry) to Candice Patton (Iris) to the man who is (seemingly) Reverse Flash in Tom Cavanagh (Dr. Wells). We’re not going to sit here and say that any of these clips will blow your mind off of the face of the planet, but they are still rather nice to see. You get a better sense of the stories that the cast really wants you to know about.
Can the show keep up the hype from its fall season? This is what you have to wonder right now. What season 1 has done a tremendous job of so far is really selling that this is the perfect show for the Flash / Barry character. It reminds us of the early Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies before the third one came around and messed everything up; it knows to be serious at times, but it also allows the character to breathe and have a little bit of fun. Barry is one of those characters you can picture yourself being; we love Oliver Queen over on “Arrow,” but he is a little more hard-nosed and intimidating. He’s someone you are more in awe of versus someone you can relate to.
Expect Barry to relentlessly chase the Reverse Flash mystery in the second half of the season, and also battle familiar faces like Captain Cold and question whether or not anything has changed between him and Iris. There is plenty to look forward to!
