ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4, episode 13 review: Did Emily, Victoria team up to stop Malcolm Black?

Madness -Did we see Victoria Grayson turn over a new leaf on tonight’s new episode of “Revenge“? It may sound somewhat crazy, but that is actually what we started to think at around the 53 minute mark.

For once, Victoria seemed like she was finally tired of dealing with all of the hurt and the pain. Her relationship with Emily Thorne was driving her to become enraged, but after being kidnapped by Malcolm Black and tortured alongside her, she seemed okay with deciding to just mourn the loss of her son on her own. She knows now that David Clarke tried to kill her, and to a certain extent, she really doesn’t care that much about it anymore. She just wants to be away from him.

Yet, there is still someone who is keeping her at least partially away from doing everything that she wants to do, and their name is Margaux. She still wants that revenge, and she is going to far as to hire out investigators to get the evidence that she needed.

This was an eventful, exciting episode all around, and the biggest surprise was seeing the end of Malcolm Black. Who thought he would die so soon? No one else important lost their lives in his wake, but the end of his story creates an interesting void for David.

Going into next week, the biggest open threads are Margaux’s plans, and then also Louise’s decision to marry Nolan so that she could get out of the conservatorship that was causing her to literally lose her mind. However, what we did not know was that this medication may have been covering up a deep, dark secret, which could be exposed very soon. Grade: B+.
