‘NCIS’ season 12 spoilers: First look at Rocky Carroll-directed episode
Many weeks ago, the news was confirmed that Rocky Carroll was going to be directing a new episode of “NCIS.” Now, we know a good bit more about this episode, including what the major and the secondary stories are each going to be.
This episode will air come Tuesday, February 3, and the title itself in “We Build, We Fight” is certainly courageous and in the spirit of the show. The story itself tackles the topic of the military policy on homosexuality, and also how people in the Navy choose to be honored. There’s also a Jimmy Palmer story! When was the last time that happened?
Take a look at the full synopsis below:
“Gibbs and the team investigate when a Navy lieutenant who is set to be the first openly gay servicemember to receive the Medal of Honor is murdered. Also, as his wife’s due date approaches, Palmer prepares for fatherhood with a NCIS baby shower.”
We’re excited to see what the man behind Leon Vance brings to the table here. We already know very well just how skilled of an actor he is, but isn’t it always nice to see what else he can do? One of the nice things about a long-running series like this one is that it allows for other opportunities to feature so many of the cast members taking on other roles outside of acting. This is something that many new series do not have time for during some of their earlier seasons.

Why is it that the best shows, that are not offensive, always have to go politically correct and ruin a good thing? After the homosexual episode, I cannot watch this show any longer. It is a shame that they always have to bring in the homosexual angle in hopes that society will begin to accept something that is offensive to many people, particularly those who watch conservative type programming.
