‘Saturday Night Live’: Justin Bieber responds to Kate McKinnon’s Calvin Klein spoof
Clearly, someone must have either alerted Bieber that this was coming, or he found out quickly not long after the sketch aired. Either way, he was pretty quick after the show finished airing on the East Coast to respond to it with a pretty simple “well played” and an “lol,” which you can see via his Twitter below. Bieber has hosted “SNL” before, so he at least knows the work that goes into these.
We give him some credit for the ability to laugh at himself, mostly because there are some other people out there who have not been quite so keen to do so. Kim Kardashian seemed to be at times critical of Nasim Pedrad’s impression of her (to be fair, it was never really that good), and we still feel like Andy Cohen didn’t laugh off the Taran Killam impression as much as he should have. We also wish that Killam would bring that back out at some point.
This is not the first time that Kate has brought out a Bieber impersonation, and we figure that it will not be the last. It’s up there now with Ellen DeGeneres as one of her biggest feature characters.
