‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 5 spoilers: Questions for Grace Park’s Kono

Is there going to be a big Kono wedding coming up on “Hawaii Five-0” season 5? Perhaps the better way to put this right now is that it is possible that there will be, but the decision is ultimately going to be up to her.

While Grace Park’s character may currently be on a trajectory that looks like it is going to end with her walking down the aisle with Adam, that does not mean even in the slightest that this is actually going to happen. This is something that executive producer Peter Lenkov elaborates on further in a chat with Entertainment Weekly, where he promises that however frustrated you may be right now, there are some answers coming in due time:

“We are playing this arc with Kono struggling with whether she’s going to marry Adam or not … That’s going to play out by the end of the season.”

We’re not in too big of a hurry with this story, mostly because the more that this builds up, the more intriguing the end result will be. Also, it is easy to remember that there is a whole lot of other stuff breaking right with the Kono character, and all of that is going to be so much fun to explore over time. Kono is a character that needs time to decide whether or not she’s ready to become a wife – we know she loves Adam, but this may be a step she’s not ready for.
