‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ preview: Joan Rivers, Ivanka Trump take center stage

Last week on “The Celebrity Apprentice,” we were somewhat surprised that there was a fairly big-name sponsor aboard the show in Cosmopolitan, given that so far this season, we have seen more in the way of companies we’ve never heard of.

So how are we following that up? Well, how about a product that is very close to Ivanka Tramp herself! This is going to be the second task we’ve seen over the course of the series based around her lifestyle brand, and she is going to be in turn one of the judges. Teams have to come up with some sort of mobile boutique in order to properly show off a line of shoes. Also, Joan Rivers is an adviser for the task, which should be a lot of fun. (We don’t want to say it will be sad, because we really don’t feel like Joan would want us to be sad over her death.)

Who will be the project managers on this task? The jury is still out, but it certainly feels like the women would know the product and the field much better. (Then again, we said the same thing about Cosmopolitan.) We would say that Kenya Moore and Leeza Gibbons should be the two to run the show this time, since each one of them probably understands what to do here more than anyone else. We could also see Brandi Glanville stepping up on Kenya’s team, as well. (Either way, this could lead to a ton of drama.) We could be wrong, but one of the “Real Housewives” vs. Leeza would make for the most compelling showdown.
