ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4, episode 13 video: Tommy Flanagan, Emily VanCamp, Madeleine Stowe face off

Malcolm Black is a bad, bad dude. If there is something very simple but important you should know about Sunday night’s new episode of “Revenge,” it is this.

The sneak peek below is probably one of the better views of Tommy Flanagan’s character that we have seen since he first surfaced on the show. This man is ruthless, violent, and he will do whatever he can to get what he wants. Given the title of this series, isn’t it appropriate that he wants revenge himself above all else? The only twist here is that his revenge comes at the expense of everyone else. Capturing Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) and Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) is clearly the #1 way to get to David Clarke (James Tupper). After all, these are the two people he seems to love over anyone else. If you want to completely devastate someone, you have to find a way to damage them immensely. Clearly, this will do that and then some to him.

At the tail end of this, we also learn here that Malcolm has zero problem whatsoever hitting a woman, given what he does to Emily at the tail end of this.

We’re obviously hopeful about the fate of Emily and Victoria, given that this show would not be the same without these two women at the center of it. Still, you do have to wonder what the consequences of all of this could be for them. They are not going to be able to go through this level of pain, only to emerge on the other side completely unscathed.
