‘Two and a Half Men’ season 12, episode 11 review: Did Walden, Alan lose Louis?

The latest -Tonight, “Two and a Half Men” aired an episode that was both funny and at times emotional, mostly because this was the half-hour where everything started to fall apart for Walden Schmidt.

Sooner or later, we knew that his secret was going to come out, and it did when Ms. McMartin showed up out of the blue for a surprise visit … and while he had a woman upstairs. She figured out the truth about his sexuality, and this led to a series of very unfortunately events for both the social worker and Walden. For one, she ended up sleeping with Alan after the two got drunk and he tried to convince her to let Louis stay with them despite the lie.

The funny thing here is that we legitimately thought when Ms. McMartin took Louis out of the house that this was it, and it would have to be some future episode where she finally decided to give the child back. However, that didn’t happen. She ultimately opted to let him stay, which meant that Walden got to have his adopted son and new friend back. The twist? They still have to hope that her boss never figures things out.

While this entire story is completely unrealistic, this show is not exactly the peak of realism. We didn’t exactly expect there to be anything logical behind what we see here. At least tonight occasionally made us feel something, except for the parts where poor Maggie Lawson had to take part in some sex jokes. Some things are a little too much, even for this show. Grade: B.
