‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2 spoilers: Brett Dalton teases possible clarity for Ward

What exactly is going on when it comes to Ward on “Agents of SHIELD“? This is a question that many may have had ever since he first became a traitor last season, and it has certainly lingered. We’ve seen him be front and center on an escape plot, just as we have also seen him take some serious actions against his Senator brother.

While most of the character’s actions are intriguing, the mystery still very much remains as to what this guy’s endgame really is. Unfortunately, you’re going to be waiting for a while still, as the next new episode of the show will not be airing until Tuesday, March 3 on ABC.

Luckily, you don’t have to wait that long to see what Brett Dalton has to say about this arc! Speaking to Zap2It at the TCA Winter Press tour this week, the actor explained that if you’re hunting for answers on Ward, some are going to be coming eventually:

“I think that things will probably become clear by the end of this season, I would certainly hope. We’ve followed this guy for 10 episodes now. The writers are really good at introducing something that makes you retrospectively look at the rest of the actions and all of the sudden you have an ah-ha moment … I hope that there’s going to be some kind of twist where everything makes sense and comes into focus.”

With this being said, we’re going to be completely shocked if we get these answers quickly, mostly become it feels like the show has bigger fish to fry. After all, how do you avoid telling the story of Skye, now that you know about her being Daisy Johnson? You really can’t.
