‘The Fosters’ season 3 official; renewed before season 2B premiere

The Fosters -How about this for a significant vote of confidence from ABC Family? Today, the network decided to officially order a third season of “The Fosters,” even though the second season has yet to even premiere. We do see this as a tremendous amount of support, especially when you consider that the show doesn’t have much of a security net at all when it comes to the ratings moving forward.

What this should do for the fans is make them feel at least somewhat more confident, which may not be a feeling that all of them are necessarily that familiar with these days. After all, just think about the way in which the network has handled shows over time, whether it be “Bunheads,” “Make It or Break It,” or some others that were canceled without warning. This is a show of faith. Even if the ratings are lower this winter, it will at least get another chance to shine.

When it comes to storylines, we definitely know that there is plenty more to come. We’ve already seen season 2 be a difficult one for the Callie character, and that is going to continue as she learns more and more about what she thinks about herself and the system around her. We just hope that Brandon, Jude, and some other characters also get a decent amount of time in the limelight.

We are going to have some further news when it comes to “The Fosters” very soon, so our advice to you on this subject is to stay tuned. After all, we’ll have more good stuff as it comes out.
