‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11 spoilers: Dangerous times ahead for at least one character

At this point, most “Grey’s Anatomy” fans should be rather familiar with tragedy. It befalls these characters almost as much as eating and breathing, and it never seems as though they get a break for very long.

So what is the latest unfortunate event to come the show’s way? Think here in terms of a dangerous situation for one character. According to a new report from TVLine, the upcoming 15th episode of this season is going to feature one of the female characters in a car accident, and somehow, she is able to coach through a young girl as to how to help out her mother. Basically, more proof that these doctors often at times double as heroes on the show, even if they are far from perfect.

The good news here is that we don’t get any indication that this said doctor is going to die, which is pretty darn good news for us, given how the show has already traveled down that grim and pretty-sad road already. We still feel like “Flight” is too close in the rear-view mirror to break our hearts to a greater capacity.

What we are slightly more curious about down the road this season is whether or not we get a sense that the show is building to an end. There have been no conversations just yet about when the series could finally take its last bow, but with many contracts expiring after last season, that seems like it could be fitting time to say farewell. Plus, the show is still popular, and isn’t it better to end in such a situation?
