‘Two and a Half Men’ season 12, episode 9 video: Lyndsey returns, but how?

Are you ready to see some more of “Two and a Half Men” on the air? We certainly hope so, given that the show is going to be back in action Thursday night with an episode that, while important to the long-term story of Walden being a father, also sounds completely silly.

After all, one of the main themes at this episode’s core is going to be watching to see if Alan is going to be able to handle the idea of Herb trying to go after his ex Lyndsey, even if he is not dating her anymore. This strikes us as the whole classic situation of Alan not wanting something or someone until someone else makes their intentions clear. This is going to be troublesome, isn’t it?

Moving beyond this, one of the themes in general is just going to be Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher’s characters starting to realize how next-to-impossible it really is to date while also keeping their lie alive and having Louis in the house all of the time. Eventually here, something has to give … and based on some of the teasers that we’ve seen, it does not look like the show is waiting until the series finale for the truth about Walden and Alan’s sexuality to come out.
