‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ notes: Kevin Jonas, Kate Gosselin headlines

It’s been so long since “The Celebrity Apprentice” was filmed that we imagine for some of these people, it has to be almost strange to go back and watch everything that transpires. This is probably especially true for Kevin Jonas, given that this is a guy who at one point was predicted to win the whole thing by at CarterMatt and many other places.

So what was really going through his head when he brought Ian Ziering into the boardroom to use as an ally, that way he could get Geraldo Rivera fired? Jonas tells Zap2It that he really wasn’t trying to be clever, but was instead just trying to make as compelling an argument as possible:

“I definitely wasn’t trying to outsmart Mr. Trump … This is his show. He’s in charge. The way I looked at it was Ian, yes, he was my confidant, and if I was going to get rid of someone as powerful essentially as Geraldo, then I’m going to need someone backing me up.” 

Jonas also tells the website that he regrets not bringing in Lorenzo Lamas, which he probably should given that Trump would’ve probably fired him in a second over anyone else, given he wasn’t bringing as much to the table entertainment-wise.

Kate Gosselin news – We’re venturing somewhat away from the show here, but does Kate have a new man in her life? According to E! News, Gosselin is dating Dreamstine COO Jeff Prescott, a man who has quite a bit of money in the bank. (In other words, he’s a millionaire.) Prescott is a 51-year old divorced dad, and while he doesn’t have eight children, he does at least have three. A source tells Us Weekly that the two are still fairly new, given that he has yet to meet Kate’s children.
