‘Constantine’ spoilers: ‘Breaking Bad’ alum cast to play Felix Faust

Constantine -Want to see someone particularly sinister coming on “Constantine“? Rest assured that you will be seeing him in the form of Felix Faust.

As for who will be playing him, sources confirm that it is none other that former “Breaking Bad” scene-stealer Mark Margolis. Faust does have some ties to the John Constantine character, as well as much of the DC Justice League in some shape or form. It is a pretty cool get for the show, which really needs more and more of a DC Comics presence to have a chance at renewal. After all, the first season has only 13 episodes, and while we have enjoyed many of them, the ratings have not necessarily been hitting anything out of the park. It needs these little boosts from time to time.

Luckily, you will not be waiting a whole lot longer to see the show return; specifically, we’re talking about Friday, January 16. When it is back, one thing to remember here is that there is going to be a direct continuation to what we saw in the winter finale, which put John in some precarious situations. We feel like this show was struggling during the early going to really find its way between a faithful comic adaptation and a show that can breathe on its own, but it has learned the ropes over time and is now truly earning its keep.

We’ll have some further scoop as we get closer to the return date, so be on the lookout for more on that!
