‘The Fosters’ season 2 spoilers: What’s next for Callie, Brandon in ‘Stay’?

While it may still be a few weeks until the premiere of “The Fosters” arrives on ABC Family, why not spend a minute or two taking a look into the future here? This is what we are doing with “Stay,” an episode that happens to be the thirteenth of the second season, and airs on Monday, January 26.

Based on the details that we can see about this episode, one of the larger stories will revolve around how Callie tries to be as active as possible in helping with Girls United. Unfortunately, she will soon realize that this is not going to be easy, and she has her work cut out for her. For a few other assorted details, take a look at the official synopsis below:

“Kiara from Girls United reaches out to Callie when she is placed in an unfit foster home. Callie recruits Stef to help, but they soon find that getting Kiara out is not as straightforward as it seems. Mariana is invited to join the STEM team at her school after she tests above her class but chooses to downplay her math scores to her boyfriend, Mat.

“Meanwhile, Brandon tries to convince his parents to let him join in on an opportunity with the band, and Jesus shares his secret with Hayley.”

While Callie has been as of late the driving force behind most of the storylines on the show, and recent reports suggest that it will stay that way for at least a little while longer, it is nice to see nonetheless that there are going to be many an opportunity for other characters to have some time in the limelight, including Brandon and Mariana.
